Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez lately has been in news for all the wrong reasons. She came under the radar of ED after they found that she received many expensive gifts from the conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. She is currently being questioned by Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing in connection with a Rs 200 crore extortion case involving Sukesh. As per the latest reports, Jacqueline was grilled for more than 7 hours for the second time for her alleged involvement in the case.

This was the second time when the Kick actress appeared before Economic Offenses Wing to join the probe. Earlier, she was questioned for 8 hours along with Pinky Irani, who is said to be an aide of Sukesh. Pinki had allegedly introduced Jacqueline and several other actors to Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently in jail. For the unversed, Delhi Police in the first round of questioning found inconsistencies in Jacqueline and Pink's answers when they were confronted with each other. They also mentioned in the investigation that Sukesh offered a motorcycle to Jacqueline’s agent Prashant on his birthday. But when he refused to take it, the conman kept its keys at Prashant’s place. To note, ED in its charge sheet ruled that Jacqueline got gifts worth Rs. 5.71 crores from Sukesh using the extortion money. 

Also, a fixed deposit of Rs. 7.12 crore attached to Jacqueline's name was found. In his statement, Sukesh Chandrashekhar had accepted gifting 15 pairs of earrings, five Birkin bags, goods from brands like Chanel and Gucci, jewelry worth Rs. 7 crore, and other expensive items to the actress.
