Biopic fever has gripped most filmmakers. And when it gripped Ekta Kapoor, little did she know that she had a very tough task ahead.
Ekta says, "Yes, I was looking for a good biopic," then adds, "Someone told me I should make a film on Mohammad Azharuddin's life."
However, the same person quickly warned the TV Czarina that the former cricketer would never agree to put his life on celluloid.
Ekta continues, "I quite like a No. I love to chase it. And it took 30 meetings and some really good conversations with my dad (Jeetendra is Azhar's friend) for Azhar to say yes."
Perseverance is the key to success. Right Ekta?
