Late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is dropping out of college to pursue acting in the Hindi Film industry. He has made the decision and shared a post, informing everyone about it. Babil said he is ‘giving it all to acting’. The star kid said ‘Goodbye’ to the University of Westminster and his ‘beautiful’ ‘truest’ friends back there. He mentioned he will miss them a lot and thanked everyone for making him feel like he belonged. Babil revealed he is dropping out with over “120 credits” because he is giving it all to acting, as of now.   

“I will miss you so much. My beautiful friends. I have a very tight circle here in Mumbai, literally 2-3 friends in total. You all gave me a home in a strange cold place and made me feel like I belonged. Thank you, I love you. Film BA, dropping out today, with over 120 credits cause I’m giving it all to acting as of now. Goodbye university of Westminster. I love you my truest friends,” Babil Khan wrote in his Instagram post. Along with the long caption, Babil tagged everyone. He also shared a string of pictures from his university and with his friends.

Earlier, Babil shared a picture with Shoojit Sircar and producer Ronnie Lahiri. He posted the photo and wrote in the caption, “Honoured to work with you legends.” Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar and producer Ronnie Lahiri have signed him. Lahiri also shared pictures and wrote, “Honoured to take forward your legacy Irrfan sir. Worked with a legend like you, and now Babil. If this is not Providence, what is it?” For the unversed, Ronnie had produced ‘Piku’, which featured Irrfan Khan in a lead role. It also saw Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Shoojit Sircar. Babil Khan often shares memories of his late father. Irrfan Khan passed away last year on April 29. He breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital after battling with neuroendocrine tumour.
