It’s been a month since Irrfan Khan left for heavenly abode leaving his family and humongous fan following behind. After fighting a 2-year-long battle against cancer, Irrfan breathed his last on April 29 morning in a Mumbai hospital. He was 53 and is survived by wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Ayan and Babil Khan. As yesterday marked his first month death anniversary, his wife Sutapa took to a micro-blogging site to write a heartfelt message for her lover and late husband Irrfan Khan that broke our heart.
Sharing a couple of pictures, Sutapa wrote a heartfelt note for the actor and wrote, “'Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about. It's just a matter of time...milenge baaten karenge.... Till we meet again.” The first picture shared by Sutapa sees the actor lying on the grass basking in the sunlight, while the 2nd picture sees the happy couple posing for a selfie. Irrfan Khan looks handsome, above and beyond.
This post is a testimony to the pure love they shared and how much his wife misses him. Irrfan Khan’s sons Ayan and Babil often take to Insta to share some throwback memories with their father. Recently, Babil shared behind the scenes pictures of the actor where he was seen goofing around and laughing with his friends.
For the unversed, Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumor almost 2-year-back. Following this, he had flown down to the UK for medical treatment. It was just last year when he returned to India and shot for Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan.
