This particular dialogue from Irrfan Khan's movie Life of Pi was viral after the news about his demise made it to the headlines last year in April 2020. Mourning his demise, his fans recalled Irrfan’s iconic dialogue that goes: "I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye"


One dialogue of Irrfan Khan from Life of Pi spoke about ‘doubt’ and ‘faith’. The line goes, “Doubt is useful. It keeps faith a living thing. In the Academy-winning film Life of Pi, Irrfan Khan had said: “Even when God seemed to have abandoned me, he was watching. Even when he seemed indifferent to my sufferings, he was watching. And, when I was beyond all hope of saving, he gave me rest. That gave me a sign to continue my journey.” The actor spoke about having hope and God’s help.

Meanwhile, the film Life of Pi is based on a young boy from India’s Pondicherry. The film is based on Pi Patel’s journey, stranded on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, in the Pacific Ocean and surviving 227 days after a shipwreck. Irrfan Khan played the character of Adult Pi Patel, who was narrating his journey.
