Irrfan Khan On The Sets Of Angrezi Medium; Shoot Begins Today At Udaipur- View Pictures

Friday cannot get better than this! Irrfan Khan is back on sets and has started shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s production, Angrezi Medium- a sequel to 2017 hit, Hindi Medium. Yes, it’s not Hindi Medium 2 or English Medium, the film being helmed by Homi Adajania is titled as Angrezi Medium.

Coming to the first day of the shoot, a few pictures of the actor from the sets have surfaced online, where we can see Irrfan posing with the team. Check them out here:

Hindi medium was one of the biggest hits of 2017, and the third most profitable film of the year. It revolved around a well-off Chandni Chowk couple (played by Irrfan and Saba Qamar) who aspire to break into the elite society and give their daughter the best education possible. Hindi Medium, for which Irrfan even won the Filmfare Best Actor Award, was loved by audiences and critics alike.

This is Irrfan’s first film post his return from London, where he was undergoing the treatment for Neuroendocrine tumour, since March 2018. 

Irrfan returned to India, a couple of weeks back. The talented actor even posted a heartfelt note, announcing his comeback to movies, a day back. He had written, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.” Now, that the pictures from the sets of Angrezi Medium are out, we’re sure fans just can’t wait to see Irrfan on the big screen.
