Indian comedy flick Piku released in the year 2015 and gave ace actress Deepika Padukone an opportunity to share screen space with late actor Irrfan Khan. Today is a dark day for film fraternity with the actor losing his battle against cancer, the actress paid her last tribute to him via her social media post. Her post was unlike all the others in the entertainment business. Instead of sharing a picture of them together or just him, she posted nothing, absolutely nothing just a blank black post mourning his death.
Along with this blank post she used a broken heart emoji in her caption and she wrote, “#irrfankhan” This truly makes us understand the loss that industry has suffered from the passing away of this actor. Deepika and Irrfan who shared screen space in Piku were applauded by the audience for their amazing chemistry on screen. Thus, allowing the filmmaker to convey his thoughts just like he wanted. Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, the late actor portrayed Rana Chaudhary who plies Deepika and her onscreen father played by Amitabh Bachchan from Delhi to Kolkatta.
The late actor had won the best actor award for his marvellous performance for Piku at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
