Magnificent star Irrfan Khan’s untimely death has shaken the film fraternity, many stars penned in their condolence messages on the actor's passing away which was too soon and industry being left in a void. His talent was beyond borders, stepping into the entertainment business with TV shows he left an everlasting impact on his audience with his films. Along with Bollywood, he was also one of the preferred actors for Hollywood movies for his acting prowess. Beginning in the year 2002 with an Indo- English film Bokshu, The Myth, the actor went on to star in many more films in Hollywood.
A Mighty Heart starring Angelina Jolie saw Irrfan rub shoulders with bigwigs of Hollywood. He also played a role in Karachi Police Chief released in the year 2007. Followed by that he played some pivotal roles in movies sharing screen space with iconic stars from Hollywood. The list includes Mira Nair’s The Namesake, the movie got global noticed. Next was Slumdog Millionaire which saw the late actor in a police officer’s role nailing it like he always does and of course, the Oscars followed.
Next, he was seen in a doctor’s role, Dr. Rajit Ratha in Marvel Comics movie, The Amazing Spider-Man, the box office figures of this movie set an ultimate benchmark in the showbiz. Next came Life of Pi, this movie was nothing less than a milestone in the actor’s career. He left the national and international audience speechless with his impeccable acting skills.
