He took to his Instagram account sometime back to share a rare and unseen photo of his ‘baba’ in which he is seen building his own table. According to his caption, this was the period when Irrfan was going through his chemotherapy sessions and found joy in simple things like this.

Babil also mentioned that Irrfan has concluded the legacy and that nobody can replace him. His note reads, “Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to. To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have. I love you so much, for the rest of this chaos we are choosing to call life.”

Babil said he misses him ‘more than all that shah-Jahan/ Mumtaz stuff’ and would have built a space monument. “I miss you, more than all that shah-Jahan/mumtaz stuff; I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a blackhole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries)” his note further reads.

Jr Khan also shared the Piku actor’s handwritten note which was written on 25 June 2018 which he termed as the ‘last stages of evolution’. ALSO READ: Irrfan Khan Death Anniversary: Wife Sutapa Pours Her Heart Out In An Emotional Note; Recalls Singing Songs To Him A Night Before He Passed Away And Much More
