Bollywood actor and producer Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding with Nupur Shikhare on January 3, took the internet by storm. Their registered marriage became the talk of the town due to their hatke ways of doing things. From the groom running around 8 km to the wedding venue to signing the marriage certificate in gym shorts and a vest, netizens are still commenting on their wedding. Now that the newlyweds and their families have flown to Udaipur, Ira’s makeup artist took to social media to share a photo of the bride getting ready for her big day.
Taking to her Instagram story, Ira reported a story from her makeup artist Coleen Khan Affonso. Dressed in her blush pink and green wedding outfit the 27-year-old looks tired as everyone works on her hair and makeup. She definitely took everyone’s breath away with her stunning appearance. Talking about their wedding celebrations in Udaipur, it was earlier reported that the couple will be hosting a mehendi and sangeet ceremony for their friends and family. However, according to a recent report, it is stated that they will be tying the knot in a traditional wedding complete with pheras at the Taj Aravali Resort on Kodiyat Road in Udaipur. Arunf 176 rooms of the hotel have been reserved for their guests including the family members of the bride and the groom. They will proceed to host a wedding reception for Bollywood celebrities after their return to Mumbai. For those who don’t know, Nupur is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. Apart from this, she also launched Agastu Foundation, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues. Having met during the pandemic, the couple got engaged in September 2022 during a sports event. They proceeded to host an engagement party for their family in November of the same year.
