Just a few hours ago, the news of Kanika Kapoor being diagnosed with Coronavirus hit the Internet, after which reports of the singer having attended a party in Lucknow with over 100 people made it to the Internet. It was after she returned from London, that she complained of a sore throat and flu, after which she got tested for coronavirus and it came back positive. She is now in quarantine in a hospital in Lucknow, and a few pictures of Kanika at the party has surfaced on the Internet.  

The picture of Kanika at the party also shows former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, who has now gone into self-quarantine. Kanika is being slammed on the Internet by many, who are calling her reckless for attending a party at a time like this, and also possibly exposing others to the infection. Now, a video from the party in Lucknow has made it to the Internet. The video obtained and shared by India TV shows Kanika singing in an open lawn, while several other guests enjoyed themselves, watching and cheering for the performance.

Meanwhile, Vasundhara Raje tweeted, "While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest. As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.”



Kanika Kapoor also updated her fans about her health and stated that she is feeling okay, but has a mild fever and normal flu. Following her diagnosis, Lucknow has reportedly gone into a virtual lockdown.
