Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Karan Johar is turning 50 tomorrow and he will ring in his birthday in a grand and special way. Yes, you read that right! KJo wants his 50th birthday celebration party to remember. As per reports, Karan will be hosting a grand and star-studded bash at Yash Raj Studios in midst of grand sets and glamour. As per Pinkvilla's report, the filmmaker has roped in production designer Amrita Mahal to design the whole setup for his birthday bash. Amrita is known to have created sets for films like Kalank, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and for upcoming films Brahmastra and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Not just this, Karan also wants the food and desserts at his party to be the best. Thus, he has hired renowned chef Marut Sikka for food and the well-known Harsha Kilachand for desserts. According to a report in Etimes, Karan has personally tasted Marut and Harsha's delicacies quite often and he simply loves them. “He knows these two will do ample justice on his special day,” a source revealed to the portal. For the unversed, Babulnath-based caterer Harsha Kilachand is best known for her delectable desserts, crunchy cookies, multifarious savories, and customized gifting options. Marut Sikka, on the other hand, is the founder of Indus culinary catering, authored books and TV shows. He had also set up award-winning restaurants and created meals for America's former President, Barack Obama and India's former Prime Minister, Mr. Manmohan Singh.

Reportedly, the party theme is said to be black and bling, and the entire Bollywood is expected to arrive at the glitzy bash.
