Alia Bhatt has over the years turned out to be a successful actor with her smart choice of films. The actress who made her debut with Student Of The Year has worked with many successful actors in the industry including Shah Rukh Khan. As Alia has bagged many films in her kitty, next on her list is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Salman Khan and the actress is quite excited about her pairing with the star.
Alia Bhatt will be playing the role of the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Inshallah. Recently, the actress opened up about her film choices and her pairing with Salman Khan in Inshallah to Bollywood Hungama. She had a lot to talk about as she shared her excitement for the project. The actress said, “I literally remember myself jumping. I was not in town, I was out of the country and I was doing something and I got a call and I was like.. literally I ran to the corner and I jumped up and down for 5 minutes because I was so excited.” She added that the film’s shoot begins next week.
Alia further went on to add that the shoot of the film will begin from next week and this will be Salman and Alia’s first film together. Ever since their fresh pairing was announced, they have received a lot of backlash from netizens for the vast age difference, but it has not affected Alia’s excitement towards working with Salman Khan. “I didn’t get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn’t there be speculation. There should be and at least I am not bothered by that and I don’t think Salman or Bhansali sir are bothered. I think this is a filmmaker who has given us very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision,” said the Kalank actress.
Revealing details about her lined up films, the actress spoke about the ongoing schedule of Sadak 2 and how Brahmastra is also almost over. Alia added, “Sadak 2‘s shooting has begun, Brahmastra also is on, more or less almost over as well. The film is gonna be out next summer. So yeah next year is again gonna be very exciting year for me because you know working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the first time, working with Salman for the first time, working with Ranbir for the first time, Ayan for the first time, Mr. Bachchan, like a lot of first time, my dad for the first time. So next year actually is gonna be super super super special and I really hope it goes well.” The actress is thrilled that she is working with some amazing people from Bollywood and is aiming to work hard for it.
Alia Bhatt has been busy shooting the schedule of Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Pooja Bhatt. The schedule of the film has kick-started in Ooty and the actress has sent many pictures as well. Alia also has Brahmastra, RRR, Inshallah, and Karan Johar’s Takht bagged up in her kitty and is aiming to soar high, despite the competition.
