Misfortunes never come singly, they say. Well, that adage surely stands true for Swara Bhasker who seems to have had a series of unfortunate events with her footwear. Only recently, Swara Bhasker paid a visit to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja and had worn Kolhapuri flats for the occasion. However, the actress had to retrun back barefoot as her footwear went missing! The actress took it in stride and also shared a clip on Instagram and jokingly wrote, “Because what’s a darshan to Mumbai’s most sought after deity you don’t lose your shoes?" Now, looks like her bad luck with footwear seems to be never ending as the actress was snapped without her heels on the green carpet at IIFA Awards 2019.

Swara Bhasker is known for breaking convention not only with her choice of roles, but also with voicing her opinions on social media fearlessly and now, with walking the green carpet at IIFA Awards 2019 without her heels!  Swara Bhasker was snapped by the paparazzi at the green carpet while she struggled with her footwear and held one in her hand. Meanwhile, IIFA Awards 2019 was an eventful night and saw the who’s who of Bollywood such as Deepika Padukone, Ali Bhatt, Salman Khan, Sara Ali Khan and others attend the glamorous awards show. Alia Bhatt won the best actor (female) for her role in Raazi, while Ranveer Singh won the best actor (male) for Padmaavat.
