20th edition of the prestigious award ceremony of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards was homecoming for this mega event. Many celebs dazzled on the green carpet and took home the trophies for entertaining the audience with their splendid work on the celluloid. Last night as the award ceremony preceded they were many speculations and guessing game among the fans of our favorite Bollywood stars, as to who will win big at IIFA 2019. And we think the trophies went to the right stars.

Ever time high on energy and performance actor Ranveer Singh took home the sparkling trophy for his marvelous and spine chilling performance in Padmaavat. The actor took home Best Actor trophy last night. His portrayal of vicious and cruel ruler of Alauddin Khalji just compelled the audience to hate him more for his onscreen character, and also love him to another level for such an apt performance.  Congratulations!! Ranveer you deserve it.  When the award was announced the actor kissed his wife and actress Deepika Padukone before heading to the stage. This too remained as the highlight of the award night.

The actor grabbed the attention with his mind blasting performance in his Gully Boy avatar. He further also performed on the heart thumping number Khalibali from Padmaavat, which just set mood of the attendees.

Ranveer like always looked dashing in his yet another unusual avatar in a grey suit with a huge red bow and that sharp ponytail can’t be missed. We once again congratulate the actor.
