Bollywood stars have reached New York and are having some crazy fun before the main IIFA Awards ceremony, which will take place over the weekend. After
Sonakshi Sinha rung the closing bell at Nasdaq, Times Square, yesterday, here's a quick glance at what all took place on day 1 of the grand gala:
Shahid Kapoor has some crazy moves in store for you.
Just 2 days to Varun Dhawan's magnificent performance.
Alia Bhatt prepping for her breathtaking IIFA debut performance.
Day 1 started with a press conference where Shahid Kapoor,
Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan,
Sushant Singh Rajput and
Kriti Sanon took the stage. Salman looked handsome in a black suit while Katrina looked beautiful in a red dress. Shahid wore a black kurta and Varun was in his quirky semi-formal avatar. Alia sported a monochromatic off-shoulder dress, while Sushant kept it casual and Kriti looked pretty in a blue dress.
Interestingly, Salman Khan made Katrina blush as he sung a birthday song for her along with Alia, Varun, Shahid, Kriti and Sushant.
Katrina Kaif celebrates her birthday on July 16.
Disha Patani also attended an IIFA event and looked super sexy in a yellow dress:
After slaying it in yellow, Disha Patani looked smoking hot in this black number:
Clearly Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif had an aww moment here:
And then began the party which was a mix of a fashion show and a few performances.
Varun Dhawan performed on Tamma Tamma and other songs from Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and we can see the crowd going crazy
Varun got the crowd at Times Square grooving to his tunes.
Disha Patani took to the ramp and looked beyond elegant in a Falguni Shane Peacock outfit.
To give Disha company,
Shilpa Shetty too walked the ramp for Falguni Shane Peacock and looked marvellous:
Shilpa waved to fans who had come to get a glimpse of Bollywood stars at Times Square:
Shahid Kapoor looked handsome as ever:
What's more powerful than Times Square chanting 'India India'. Check this out:
