Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi made waves in Bollywood with her amazing performances in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan and the web series Farzi, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. He left the audience in awe of the command with which he graces the screen with his acting. As fans await his next releases, he attended the 54th International Film Festival of India held in Goa on Monday evening. He opened up about the power of cinema during a media interaction. For the unversed, the opening ceremony was held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Panaji, Goa.
When asked about what he expects from the film festival the 45-year-old actor showered praises on cinema and how it brings another experience to the audience. Quoted by India Today, he said, “Cinema is a very beautiful language. It transfers the audience to another world and they gain another experience. It introduces new cultures, shows emotions and tells how to treat other people. So it's a wonderful medium. I am very happy to be a part of the industry, especially as an actor, so I am enjoying every moment. I am just enjoying this. I am not expecting anything, I am just happy.”

On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Atlee directorial Jawan, co-starring Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanya Malhotra and many more. He will be next seen in Merry Christmas opposite Katrina Kaif, which will be released in January 2024.
