Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 has received lots of love and appreciation since the release of its trailer. Though the makers were expecting a clean chit from the censors a recent news story reveals that a reference to Ramayan has been removed from the upcoming Super 30. The film has received a U certification after four cuts in the film.

According to the Central Board of Film Certificate (CBFC) website, the words "Ramayan mein" were replaced with "Raj Puran mein" in a particular dialogue of the film. This particular reference from the epic Ramayan was chopped off the film by the CBFC.

Amongst the several other modifications in the film, there were also two shots from the Paisa song in the film. The modifications suggested by the censors firstly had a dancer in the song being held by the politician, and the second showed the politician touching the dancer. Both the scenes were chopped and these particular shots have been replaced with other regular dancing shots.

Along with it, a ten second Hindi disclaimer has been added to the song along with an anti-liquor disclaimer.

Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar who launched the Super 30 programme in Patna in 2002, which prepares underprivileged students for IIT-JEE, the entrance examination for the Indian Institutes of Technology.

While the film has been circling in tabloids for Hrithik’s outstanding performance and his skin tone, the real-life hero of Super 30 shared an interesting story from the shoot of the film, wherein once while having a conversation with him, the actor got so engrossed that he forgot to wear his slippers.
