THrithik Roshan is currently riding high on the success of his last release WAR co-starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. His next project will be the Krrish 4- the fourth installment of the popular Krrish franchise and fans are very excited to see him next in the film. Hrithik keeps updating his fans regularly about Krrish 4 and a few months ago he had revealed that his superhero flick was in the final stage of scripting. However, Krrish 4 had to be put on hold after Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with skin cancer.

A few days ago, Hrithik had told PTI, "Right after WAR, I am going to sit with my father, get everyone together and restart work on Krrish 4. We had put it a little on the side because dad was recovering. Now that he is better, we will kick-start it once more." Now, according to a report in Filmfare, Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan will not be helming the film. While Rakesh Roshan is better now, Sanjay Gupta will don the director’s hat for this one.  As per the report, it was a unanimous decision. Sanjay Gupta had also directed the film Kaabil which starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The report also states that the budget of Krrish 4 will be Rs 250 crore!
