Expect the least expected! No one thought that Bollywood’s most talked about controversy hounding Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan for the longest time will see a dead end.
Well yes, the case will mostly shut as the Mumbai Police have submitted a NIL report for the same.
According to a leading daily, the forensic probe into the 'romantic' and private emails which Kangana claimed Hrithik sent her (contrary to Hrithik’s claim that it was not him but an imposter) has failed to draw up any conclusion.
As a result, the Cyber police in Bandra Kurla Complex might close the case as the only 'bone of contention' was the emails sent from the account 'hroshan@email.com'.
While talking to the daily, Sanjay Saxena- joint commissioner of police said, "We have been unable to find anything on the mail ID as the server is located in the US. Now it is very difficult to ascertain who was using the account. Still, we will try to conclude [the case] from the available evidence."
As the police's forensic experts were unable to establish any facts about the email ID, they have submitted a "NIL report".
Another senior police officer added, "It's a dead end. Only data from the server based in the US could have helped us in identifying the user of the email account."
Hrithik-Kangana mudslinging match began when Kangana was asked by a section of the media if it was Hrithik who was behind her ouster from Aashiqui 3. The fiery actress replied, “Many lame rumours are doing the rounds, even a dumbass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me, that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
Sometime later, Hrithik sent a legal notice to her through his lawyer Deepesh Mehta claiming that she has been tarnishing his image and her remarks amounted to defamation. We hear, the notice ran into 6 pages.
