The old adage of Bollywood -- you are only as good as your last hit - has come to haunt filmmaker Nikhil Advani.
The director's two back-to-back recent flops -- Hero and Katti Batti -- have jeopardised his ambitious future plans.
SpotboyE has it that Hrithik Roshan, who had almost consented to star in Nikhil's Bazaar, a Wolf Of Wall Street-like financial drama, has now decided against it.
And the decision isn't Hrithik's alone.
A source close to the development says the actor was warned against a 'career slip' by his 'well-wishers'.
We also hear that the filmmaker was keen to cast Preity Zinta in a pivotal role in the film. Hrithik and Preity have starred together in four films till date -- Mission Kashmir (2000), Koi...Mil Gaya (2003), Lakshya (2004) and Krrish (2006).
Adds the source, "For now, Hrithik's only focus is Viktor Acharya's next, which goes on floors in December with Amitabh Bachchan."
We further hear that Nikhil has now moved onto another subject.
