It happened on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro. An intense action scene had torn Hrithik Roshan's two knee ligaments and sprained his leg as well. Doctors had advised bed rest for 14 days (Hrithik gets bedridden for 2 weeks, Jan 17).
The actor was hoping that he would resume shooting by second week of of February. Well, life doesn't shape up exactly the way we want, does it?

The news coming in from Roshan Jr's sea-facing flat in Juhu is that Hrithik is still in pain, the injury hasn't healed sufficiently. In fact, the doctors attending to him have now insisted that he needs to take further rest for at least a month.

A final check-up in the first/second week of March will decide when Gowariker can start rolling the cameras on his ambitious project again.
Gowariker had earlier said that Hrithik is pushing all limits to perform the gruelling stunts in his film. Guess, the limits got pushed a bit too far.

This is the second serious injury to Hrithik in the last two-and-half years. Prior to this, Hrithik had hurt himself very badly in July 2013 on the sets of Bang Bang, which led him to undergo a brain surgery in Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital.
