Amid the national health crisis because of coronavirus pandemic, a lot of people, including celebrities, are coming forth and contributing their bit to help those in need. Only recently, actors like Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan others donated huge monetary sums to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) fund that has been initiated to battle COVID-19. Soon after, an author was quick to question the Khans of Bollywood and ask how much have they donated.
Actor and producer Nikhil Dwivedi took notice of this and gave her a befitting reply. Nikhil, in his tweet, wrote how Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are very generous when it comes to charity. The actor added how initially he was not very sure of Salman Khan’s Being Human NGO; however, once he started observing it closely, he was stunned to know the amount that the organisation has spent. Nikhil also lauded SRK and Big B for their kind contributions.
His tweet read, “SalmanKhan’s BeingHuman foundation works round the year. Once, I myself was sceptical of it. In recent years I hd the opportunity of observing it closely& was pleasantly shockd at the kind of monies it spent. Its a sincere charity. SRK spends substantially too. So does MrBachchan.”

Meanwhile, as per the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE), Salman Khan has taken the financial responsibility of 25,000 daily wage workers in the wake of national lockdown. The president of FWICE, B N Tiwari, revealed how the actor through his Being Human Foundation, got in touch with their organisation to extend help. A noble gesture indeed!
