Priyanka Chopra made a fashion statement as she hit the Grammys 2020 red carpet with her husband Nick Jonas. We call it a fashion statement for more reasons than one- majorly because it has been more than a week now that the actress donned it and people are still talking about it. Many lauded her and called her an inspiration for women, while many heavily trolled and criticized her, but the fact remains that her Ralph and Russo gown with the navel grazing neckline could not be ignored. Not for a moment was the actress uncomfortable, and was also seen cheering for the Jonas brothers along with Sophie Turner and Danielle. After Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Madhu Chopra, now Hacked actress Hina Khan has come out in Priyanka Chopra’s support.
Hina Khan, who has made her Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Hacked has now backed Priyanka Chopra, and bashed the trolls, challenging them to wear it for more than 10 minutes. As an actress who also carries off gowns at events, Hina Khan, in an interview with Zoom Tv, said, “I don’t understand. Who are you to comment on somebody’s clothes if she is comfortable? I have been telling this to people. I challenge you to wear that outfit for 10 minutes. It’s not easy to wear. It’s not an easy-breezy, flowy, covered outfit that you can just pose and do stuff. It is tricky, God! You got to have that elegance, grace, and courage to wear such an outfit.”
Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra also supported her daughter and in an interview with ANI, said, “I’m glad it (trolling) happened because I feel it made her stronger. She lives life on her terms. As long as she is not hurting anybody. It’s her body, she can do whatever she wants and she has a good one too.”
