Sara Ali Khan, the 23-year old beautiful daughter of Saif
Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is unarguably one of the most awaited debutantes in
Bollywood. Last week, she made heads turn (and how!) at the Abu
Jani-Sandeep Khosla show where she donned donned a pink lehenga with
colorful embroidery on it and paired it with a silver sequined blouse. Mummy
Amrita Singh had accompanied her.
Yesterday, we spoke to fashion guru Sandeep Khosla about
Sara.
This is how the conversation flowed:
That outfit which Sara wore at your show was lovely...
It's from our spring summer collection, the pink skirt is
multicolored Resham embroidery and the blouse is something wed had done last
year for our Sona collection hand embriodery with sequins in different
sizes.
Sara Ali Khan At The Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla Show
What do you think of Sara?
Sara is stunning. I have known her since her childhood. Her mother is our best
friend.
Abu Jani And Sara Ali Khan
Which colors does Sara like?
She likes bright colours and she even likes black and
white.
Does Indian wear suits her more? Or western wear?
I think both. She carries off both Indian and Western
with equal ease.
Does Amrita decide what Sara wears or does Sara decide on
her own?
Amrita is always the go-to-person whenever Sara is
unsure.
Sara Ali Khan Looks Stunning In Her Pink Outfit
On Sara's work front, August 25 is the day when Sara Ali Khan will
first face the cameras head-on for her maiden film Kedarnath.
Obviously, the film is going to be largely shot in
Kedarnath. So, it's a long schedule. Recently, pictures of Sara trying to hide
her face from the paparazzi did the rounds. Was that her look in Kedarnath?
Mummy Amrita will also pack her bags with her darling
daughter and ease her nervousness if any.
Sara will shoot for about 35-40 days in Kedarnath. It is
not yet final as to how many days Amrita will stay back in Kedarnath, but what
is certain is that the mother and daughter will travel from Mumbai together.
Amrita Singh With Daughter Sara Ali Khan
Not only Mummy Amrita, but Papa Saif Ali Khan is also concerned about Sara's
foray into Bollywood. Guess it's natural for parents to be concerned about
their children's careers. It apparently stems from their excitement when their
child makes his/her final decision about career. In one of his most frank interviews (Two Parts) to Spotboye.com
five months ago, Saif had his piece of advice for Sara: Don't Get Carried Away By The Drama & Politics Of Your
Profession. Talking about Sara, he had also said: "I am very
happy, it's a great job she is taking up. Gone are the days 'beta films mat
karo' (laughs). I have seen that she is better than me, she has been to a good
University, she had options and she could have done something else in her life.
I bless her in whatever she wants to do. My mom (Sharmila Tagore) says 'let her
bring her education and experience to cinema'. Sara loves movies."
Sara Ali Khan Will Shoot For Her Debut Movie Kedarnath
Kedarnath is produced by Kriarj (Prerna Arora and Arjun N Kapoor) and Balaji
(Ekta Kapoor). Ekta's cousin, Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) has been asked to direct
the film. Kedarnath is a love story. The film showcases the backdrop of one of
the most prominent Lord Shiva shrines.
Sushant Singh Rajput stars opposite Sara in Kedarnath,
whose second schedule will kick off in December. Gattu plans to wrap up the
film by mid-January 2018.
