So you know that Jackie and Ayesha Shroff’s daughter, Krishna Shroff, was offered Alia Bhatt’s role in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year (2012), but as she was more inclined towards directing and writing, she turned it down. Now, we tell you why exactly the youngest Shroff couldn’t come on board.

At a time when Tiger Shroff is in news for making the cut to the SOTY sequel, this interesting piece of information wouldn’t disappoint you. The incident goes thus.

On KJo’s request mumma Ayesha Shroff convinced Krishna to give a shot at the auditions of Dharma's Student Of The Year. As part of the screening, Krishna was asked to dance on the song Bahara Bahara from I Hate Luv Storys (2010). For some reason, Krishna was not up to it and made her reluctance known. However, team Dharma persisted that she would have to dance to the track, just like everyone else who gave the audition. Next thing you know, Krishna called up her driver on the sly and chickened out of the audition.

Not only did she leave in haste, she didn't even deem it fit to call Karan before heading out. Though all’s well now, we are sure that back in the day it must have been quite an episode.

Student Of The Year, which has Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles went on to be a huge hit and we wouldn’t be surprised if Krishna now thinks of it as an opportunity lost.
