We all know Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a taskmaster and
impressing him is quite a job. However, Deepika Padukone, left no stone
unturned to impress the Padmavati director.
A Still Of Deepika Padukone From Song Ghoomar
As per a report in a leading daily, Deepika went all out
preparing for the track Ghoomar in Padmavati and performed so well on the track
wearing an extravagant outfit and heavy jewellery that SLB was mighty
impressed. A source told the newspaper, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is anyway
impressed with Deepika not just for the song but also for the film. Looking at
her dedication, he presented Deepika with one of the outfits from the
film.”Obviously , Deepika was more than happy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s
gesture.
A few days ago, the makers released the first song
Ghoomar from the film and it’s nothing but absolute beauty. The folk dancers
have moved to ghoomar perfectly and so has the lead actress of SLB’s film- well
yes, Deepika Padukone is flawlessly done the ghoomar. Everything including the
grand sets, Shahid Kapoor’s expressions and the costumes was just perfect.
The trailer of the film was already a rage and went on to
become the most viewed video. The trailer within 24 hours of its
release, recorded 15 million views and to beat Justice League which released a
few hours before Padmavati’s trailer. The trailer of Justice League garnered 13
million views.
After seeing the overwhelming response which Padmavati's
trailer got, both Shahid and Ranveer took to social media and thanked fans for
all the love and support. While Ranveer penned an emotional letter, Shahid
tweeted about the same.
Still waters run deep. He will rise on the 1st of December. Wait for it. #rajputpride https://t.co/ylswmfiZFS

Padmavati trailer showcases the story of Rawal Ratan
Singh (Shahid Kapoor) who is Rani Padmani's husband (Deepika Padukone) and is
madly in love with her. Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh) has his eyes on Rani
Padmini and he is completely smitten by her. That enrages a war between Raja
Rawal Ratan Singh and Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
