Actress Shriya Saran faced an amusing moment during her visit to a film screening in Mumbai on Wednesday when an elderly woman made a comment about her choice of clothing in the hot weather. The incident was caught on camera and quickly went viral online. In the video, the woman can be seen playfully holding Shriya close and pointing out her outfit, questioning how she could wear such clothes in the heat. "Itne garmi mein kapde kaise pehni hui hai. Garmi nahi ho rahi hai? Ek toh AC me baithne wali bacchi hai. Chalo jao..." the woman remarked, suggesting that Shriya was accustomed to air conditioning and should be mindful of the weather.
Shriya responded to the situation with good humour, laughing and engaging with the woman and the photographers around them. She played along with the woman's light-hearted banter, saying, "Dekha? Aisa hota hai," before making her way into the theatre. Despite the unexpected interaction, Shriya appeared composed and graceful. She wore a shimmery yellow top and skirt with fringes, keeping her makeup minimal and exuding confidence as she attended the screening of Do Aur Do Pyaar, starring Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi in the lead roles.
The encounter highlighted Shriya's ability to handle awkward situations with charm and wit, demonstrating her positive and approachable demeanour. It also showcased the sometimes humorous and unpredictable nature of public appearances, especially when it involves interactions with fans or onlookers. The actress is known for her role in Ajay Devgn's Drishyam franchise.
