2017 has started with a big announcement for Bollywood
lovers. Just a few minutes ago, Karan Johar took to Twitter to let the world
know that he is co-producing a film starring Akshay Kumar, with none other than
Salman Khan.
Karan had teased his 9.78 million followers by tweeting that he has some big
news coming up. And 15 minutes later, came this tweet accompanied by this
picture.

“Truly a fraternity feeling when friends come together to
make a special film!!! (sic),” he tweeted a minute later.
Both Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have been recent guests
of Karan Johar on the fifth season of his chat show Koffee With Karan.
And now we know that the camaraderie has translated into
a professional equation for the trio of Bollywood A-listers.
Karan was supposed to collaborate with Salman on his
ambitious project Shuddhi. The project was eventually shelved after multiple
cast changes.
As far as Akshay is concerned, he starred in the Dharma
Production, Brothers, with Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra but the
film failed at the box-office.
This yet-untitled project is being directed by Punjabi
hitmaker Anurag Singh, who has helmed films like the blockbuster Jatt &
Juliet franchise and Punjab 1984.
Doesn’t this seem like a winning combination?
