Mithun Chakraborty, who
ruled Bollywood in the 80s and was one of the best dancers of his times in
Bollywood, is not keeping well.
Our top source from Bollywood informed us this morning that Mithun Da is very
unwell. We decided to call him but our calls went unanswered.
We then called his manager Vijay, who said,
"Dada is unwell and not in Mumbai. He is not using his phone and has
decided to rest himself in Los Angeles for at least a month. It's been nearly
two weeks now since he flew out, and he will return only by end of this month."
So why has Mithun cut himself off from the world?
Vijay said that Mithun is down with chronic back trouble and wants to be alone
for some time. "Dada also had a hairline fracture in his back, but
thankfully he doesn't need a surgery," he added.
Mithun Da's health scare began when he
was shooting for the 2009 Imran Khan-Shruti Haasan starrer Luck, which required
him to shoot some high-octane action sequences including one where he
jumped off from a helicopter.

Vijay revealed, "Dada mistimed his jump and thereafter his back started giving him too much trouble."
"Dada's back trouble was something that was waiting to happen. Look at the number of action films he did. The pain had aggravated a month ago, but he is doing better now. I hope to see him back in Mumbai 15 days from now," the original Disco Dancer's manager signed off.
SpotboyE.com wishes Mithun Da a speedy recovery.
