Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty are rumoured to be dating for some time now. And it looks like things are getting serious between the two. KL Rahul, who is currently in England for a series, is reportedly accompanied by Athiya. As per a source, the cricketer has listed Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya as his ‘partner’ in his recent documents, before leaving for the World Test Championship Finals (WTC) in England last month. As per a report, the cricketer has conveyed the same to BCCI.
According to a report in the Hindustan Times, a source revealed that before KL Rahul and Athiya left for England for the WTC Finals, the cricketer had listed Shetty as ‘partner’ to the logistics department. The Mubarakan actress also travelled in the same bubble with the Indian cricket team, as per the report. The source said, “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people travelling with each of them. The players were supposed to give the names of whether they would be travelling with wives or partners, for which KL Rahul listed Athiya Shetty as his partner. She travelled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team.”
Just recently, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty left fans speculating whether they are vacationing together in England. Although the rumoured couple has refrained from sharing pictures together from England, the source in the report mentioned that they were indeed “together in England in the team bubble for the match”.
Earlier, during the WTC Finals, Athiya Shetty had posted a picture of her against the backdrop of the Ageas Bowl stadium in Southampton- the location where the Indian cricket team was stationed. Later, KL Rahul had shared a picture of him with Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty while roaming on the streets of London. He shared the pictures with Ahan and captioned it ‘Happy Vibes’. Athiya’s dad, actor Suniel Shetty had posted a video featuring Rahul and Ahan. He had captioned it “My love my strength” and left fans of Rahul and Athiya in frenzy. Amidst all the speculations, the Motichoor Chaknachoor actress and KL Rahul had recently shared a picture with a common friend from London. The photo on their respective Instagram stories posing for photos with the common friend left fans wondering if they are together in England. Meanwhile, to date, neither the cricketer nor Athiya have gone public about their relationship. However, the rumoured couple continues to post pictures and engage in social media PDA.
