The whispers are growing louder that Meghna Gulzar's film on the Aarushi Talwar murder case titled Talvar (Ahem! Why has 'W' changed to 'V'?) is a film that has been approved by the slain girl's parents Dr Rajesh Talwar and Dr Nupur, who are now in jail. Buzz is, the deceased girl's aunt Vandana Talwar, who has left no stone unturned to prove the parents' innocence, has provided a lot of material pertaining to the parents' point of view to Rakhee and Gulzar's daughter.

While that is still to be confirmed, Rahasya director Manish Gupta has sprung up to tell SpotboyE.com that he had received some material from Vandana with a request that he should execute some changes in his film.

Manish's Rahasya, which released in January this year, was the first film based on the Aarushi murder case. Meghna's Talvar is the second.

"Vandana gave me a couple of booklets (compiled by Vandana and 5 others) after attending a special screening of Rahasya, which I had arranged for her as per the High Court's order. She wanted me to take those booklets into account. The booklets, which had her as one of the compilers, spelt out that Aarushi's parents have been framed. I didn't go by what she wanted, else she would have withdrawn her legal case against me which had stalled the release of my film. I was adamant that I will not bow down to her wishes. I had a story to tell and I was not going to modify it," Manish says.

Doesn't this lend more credence to the buzz that Meghna is building a defence for Aarushi's parents?

Talvar stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Sohum Shah, Atul Kumar and Tabu (in a special appearance).
