Today a festival of 9 days begins which is called Navratri 2021 and it gives a celebratory mood across the globe. The enthusiasm of worshiping Goddess Durga in all forms can be seen from kids to adults. Also in Btown, the stars are all set to pray to Goddess Durga for the next nine nights. The celebrities wished to their fans via social media like Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, Paresh Rawal, and other celebs took to their social media handles to offer prayers and send love to their followers.
To begin with, Sushmita Sen shared a photo of Goddess Durga, tagged her daughters Alisah and Renee, and wished fans. She wrote, "Subho Devi Pakhsh Maa Durga in all her glory, ushers in new beginnings, an abundance of hope & courage…and of course love!!! Happy Durga Puja & a blessed Navratri to you & all your loved ones!!! I love you guys beyond…"
The megastar of the century Amitabh Bachchan wish his fans by writing a mantra about Goddess Durga and tweeted two photos. He wrote on social media – “या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्ति-रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥ "नवरात्रि के पावन पर्व पर हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं"”.
Anupam Kher also took to Twitter to share good wishes with fans. He wrote, "आप सभी को नवरात्रि की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ।माँ दुर्गा हम सबकी रक्षा करे और हमें स्वस्थ रखें। (Wishing you all a very Happy Navratri. May Maa Durga protect us all and keep us healthy.)"
The veteran actor Paresh Rawal also tweeted wishes to his fans and wrote – “मां दुर्गा का प्रथम स्वरूप मां शैलपुत्री हैं. पर्वतराज हिमालय के घर पुत्री रूप में जन्म लेने के कारण माता का नाम शैलपुत्री पड़ा. इनकी कृपा से धन, धान्य और सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति होती है।“
The dream girl of Bollywood Hema Malini tweeted wishes on the auspicious occasion of Navratri and wrote – “The auspicious Navaratras begin today, when Ma Durga resides amongst us for 9 days, showering her blessings& ending with Vijaya Dashami to celebrate the conquest of the evil Mahishasura. May these holy days benefit all of us, bringing peace and happiness to everyone. Happy Navratri!”.
The ‘Khalanayak’ star Sanjay Dutt tweeted an emotional note and wishes – “Here's wishing everyone a joyous #Navratri, filled with lots of happiness and peace! May all your successes and aspirations come true!
Like every year, Btown celebrates Navratri with enthusiasm. However, amidst COVID 19, last year the celebrations' enthusiasm was low. But, this year it is observed that many stars have preferred virtual celebrations.
