Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan base that he loves dearly. Every year at midnight, the superstar comes out of his bungalow, Mannat, to celebrate his birthday with his fans. And this year, was no different. Dressed immaculately in an all black outfit, King Khan greeted his fans with kisses and by doing his signature pose. His youngest son AbRam was present during the event too. He expressed his gratitude to the hoards of fans gathered near his Bandra residence.
In an interaction with PTI, SRK’s ardent fan Sudhir Kothari, who flew all the way from Chennai, shared the details of the event. He said that the Pathaan actor was with his fans for almost 15 minutes. Kothari, who is also the founder of the SRK Chennai fan club, shared, "He came on the balcony around 12.10-12.15 am and was there for about 15 minutes. He was expressing gratitude to all of us. He did his signature pose and also clicked a selfie. We come to relive this moment every year. It is special for us." ALSO READ: What? The fans were excited to be greeted by the actor. They flooded his streets and sang birthday songs for him along with flashing torchlights from their phones and bursting crackers.
Last year, the actor decided to celebrate a quiet birthday with his family, which came days after his son Aryan Khan was released on bail in an alleged drug case. To celebrate his birthday this year, Yash Raj Films has not only released his iconic movie, Dilwale Dhulhania le Jaayenge, but they have also shared the teaser of his much-awaited comeback film, Pathaan. On the work front, after the failure of Zero, Shah Rukh Khan will be returning to the big screen with movies like Pathaan, Dunki and Jawan. He was also seen in an extended cameo in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadha.
