Lord Hanuman is always remembered for his strength and devotion towards Lord Ram. A monkey god who played a pivotal role in Ramayan, helping Lord Ram rescue his wife Sita from Ravan's claws. Today being Hanuman Jayanti which marks the birth of this mighty lord from the Hindu mythology many stars taking to their social networking accounts wished their followers. List includes megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, actress Raveena Tandon and few more too joined the league.

Sharing a picture of Lord Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan wrote one line from the holy book Hanuman Chalisa as his caption. His caption read, “T 3495 - जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुण सागर ; जय कपीश तिहूँ लोक उजागर” Anil Kapoor shared a picture of Hanuman on his Instagram story wishing his followers, joy harmony and prosperity. Raveena Tandon too penned lines from Hanuman Chalisa in her caption on her Instagram account. Further praying for the world to heal and human race gets to see a better future.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar shared an image of Hanuman idol, and wrote, “On this auspicious occasion May Lord Hanuman bless us With health, Wisdom & Strength. हनुमहनुमान जयंती की हार्दिक शुभकामनायें.#HanumanJayanti”

Esha Deol too sharing a picture of the deity wished her followers, “Happy  #HanumanJayanti,” followed by joined hands emoji.

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, sharing a Youtube link of Hanuman Chalisa crooned by her, wished her followers. Followed by music composer-singer Shekhar Ravijiani and actor-producer Anupam Kher.
