Now, filmmaker Hansal Mehta has come out in his support and even questioned about the lack of unity in Bollywood. He wrote, "Dear @karanjohar. Thank you for setting the record straight and finally breaking your silence on all the slander and fake news around us. Not many from the industry will share this unfortunately. This lack of unity and fear of persecution has rendered us looking like cowards."
In his another tweet, he wrote, "Unless we put up a united front against this deliberate vilification and speak up I'm afraid this witch hunt will continue. There are many like me who support you. I hope people with greater power than us raise their voices to request an end to this continued abuse and slander."
