With the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, quite a few movies which were supposed to be released in the cinemas the makers are now opting for an OTT release. Knowing that after lockdown is lifted people might still not flock the theatres to watch the film, resulting in a loss of business. The makers have then decided to release it on OTT platform. Films like Gulabo Sitabo, Shakuntala Devi are going to premiere on digital and speaking about the same, just recently Janhvi Kapoor was asked the same about her films Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Roohi Afzana which were rumoured to have an OTT release.
To which she told to Filmfare that she is uncertain about her movies releasing on OTT platforms, however, she also revealed that the makers of the movie have resumed working on the VFX part of the film which was pending but also said that how everything now is so indefinite. The Dhadak actress also revealed that the shooting of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Roohi Afzana are ready only the VFX part is remaining whereas for Dostana 2's shooting 40% is done. Well, that seems like a good thing as two of her films are being done. Even though she has no knowledge about her films getting released on digital space, we are really looking forward to the movies.
Meanwhile, apart from these films mentioned above, she also has Takht along with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
On the other hand, Boney Kapoor recently informed that their domestic help at his residence has been tested positive of Coronavirus. BMC and State Govt authorities started the process of getting him into a quarantine centre. The filmmaker has revealed that in spite of all this he, along with his daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are safe and show no sign of any symptoms for COVID-19.
