Gunjan Saxena-Angrezi Medium-Roohi Afzana Release Dates Interchanged; Karan Johar Plans Well To Avoid Clashes

Taking to Twitter, Karan Johar announced the changes in the release date of his upcoming film Gunjan Saxena, Roohi Afzana and Angrezi Medium. Irrfan Khan and Bebo starrer is arriving a week early. It will release on March 13 which was earlier reserved for Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena. Janhvi's film now takes Roohi Afzana's release date, April 24. Roohi Afzana has been pushed to June 5.

Basking in the success of multiple films like Stree and Love Aaj Kal among others, Dinesh Vijan's production Maddock has quite a few films lined up for the release. Right from Angrezi Medium to Roohi Afzana, Maddock is set to take their audience on a joy ride. A few days back, the trailer of Irrfan Khan's comeback film Angrezi Medium, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan made it to the internet. The trailer which was loved and applauded by one and all and the film was scheduled to release on March 20, 2020 until now. Now, the makers have pre-poned the release date of Angrezi Medium by one week. Isn't that good news?

Recently, Karan Johar took to social media to announce the intermix of release dates of his and Dinesh Vijan's upcoming films. According to his latest tweet, Angrezi Medium will release on Janhvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena's release date i.e. on March 13, 2020, while Gunjan Saxena has taken Roohi Afzana's release date, which is April 24. Talking about Roohi Afzana, Janhvi, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma's horror-comedy will now hit the screens on June 5.
