Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan-starrer Behen Hogi Teri
has been making headlines for its quirky yet relatable trailer. Gattu
(Rajkummar) and Binny (Shruti) live in the same neighbourhood and are forced to
consider each other as brother and sister – much like the norm in most
conservative societies.
The lead pair rebels and is gradually finding ground when
the entry of a character changes the scenario.
Who is that, you ask?

Well, it’s that of Dhappi dada, essayed by Bollywood’s
Bad Man – Gulshan Grover. SpotboyE.com spoke to the actor about his role and he
said, “When Gattu and Binny are finding some ground as far as their love story
is concerned appears this larger than life, the most dreaded ex-wrestler,
Dhappi dada, who is so feared that the moment he comes in the streets are
empty, people take their kids and run away and houses are locked. He will
remind you of villains in earlier films,” he states.
“Dhappi dada’s entry changes the scenario and it becomes
even more complicated. Basically, he brings along a big twist,” adds Gulshan
Grover.

Meanwhile, explaining the quirky title of the movie,
Rajkummar had told a section of the media, “My character is madly in love with
her, but since he is from the same ‘mohalla’, they are neighbours, everybody
thinks that ‘mohalley kay log bhai-behen he hai, ye toh ghar ki baat hai’. But
how, in his heart and mind, he knows she can’t be his sister. That’s how the
title comes.”
Back to Gulshan. We can’t wait for this new avatar of Bad
Man.
