Netflix is all
set to launch their first Indian original series, Sacred Games, starring Saif
Ali Khan, Radhika Apte & Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Sridevi Walks The Ramp In Style
After assembling that impressive line-up of Bollywood stars now the US based digital entertainment giant is in talks with another Bollywood star. It is none other than Sridevi.
Yes, the
evergreen beauty who returned to the big screen after a gap of 5 years with
the gritty revenge drama Mom,
may soon be seen in a Netflix show.
Sridevi In Mom (2017)
A few days
ago Sridevi met Swati Shetty, a producer for Netflix, to discuss possible
collaborations. And if everything goes well, Sridevi may soon be making her
digital debut.
Now the question
is, is Netflix coming up with a new series with the beautiful Sridevi or will
she be a part of their first Indian original series Sacred Games?
Sridevi Looks Elegant In A Blue Suit
The streaming giant has produced a number of hit international shows.
Sacred
Games, an adaptation of Vikram Chandra's 20006 crime novel of the same name,
will be produced in partnership with Phantom Films.
Other than
Netflix, Sridevi is also reportedly in talks to star in Baahubali director SS
Rajamouli’s next.
Buzz was,
Rajamouli’s next will star Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and he will be seen
with Sridevi in the film.
The film will
reportedly be set in the current times and deal with real life struggles and
situations.
For those who
don't know, the makers of Baahubali had approached Sridevi for the role of
Rajmata Shivagami, which was later played by Ramya Krishnan to much critical
acclaim.
