Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is on cloud nine! Reason his directorial venture Golmaal Again of the Golmaal series will be the first movie to entertain audience post COVID-19 lockdown. And cherry on top is this will happen overseas in New Zealand. The first country to be declared free from the novel Coronavirus is getting back to normal routine slowly and steadily. New Zealand will be opening the theatres from June 25, 2020 thus bringing back the dose of entertainment in people’s lives after a long break.
The news was broken by the filmmaker by posting a poster of the movie, mentioning of Golmaal Again being the first Hindi film to re-release post the COVID-19 lockdown. It starred Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Parineeti Chopra and Tabu in key roles. The film was released on October 20, 2017. Congratulating Rohit were actress Bipasha Basu, Shamita Shetty, Karan Patel, Karishma Tanna and of course his followers and crazy fans of Golmaal series.
Rohit Shetty shared his delightful news on his Instagram account with the caption, “New Zealand decides to re-release Golmaal Again in theatres making it the First Hindi Film to get a relaunch post covid. New Zealand is now covid free and is opening its theatres on 25th June with Golmaal Again. As it is rightly said - ‘’THE SHOW MUST GO ON...’’”
