Following the car crash, a video of the accident quickly circulated on the internet, depicting the collision between the Lamborghini driven by the couple and a Ferrari. Images from the scene of the accident also surfaced online, showing Gayatri in a state of shock as she sat on the road after the harrowing incident. Tragically, the Swiss couple, Melissa Krautli (63) and Markus Krautli (67), lost their lives at the scene, while Gayatri and Vikas emerged from the accident unharmed. Gayatri Joshi gained recognition for her role in Ashutosh Gowariker's 2004 film 'Swades,' where she played a pivotal role in the story of an NRI NASA engineer reconnecting with his Indian heritage.
