As the creative maverick Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrates his birthday today, he decided to treat his fans with the teaser of his most talked about project, Gangubai Kathiawadi. But even before it, his film’s female lead Alia Bhatt dropped another poster of the movie, announcing the release date of this much anticipated movie. Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi will hit the silver screen in July 2021, the film will be out for the audience on July 31, 2021 shared the actress in her Instagram post.
Sharing the poster unveiling the release date, Alia wrote in her caption, “in cinemas 30th July, 2021. @Bhansaliproductions @jayantilalgadaofficial @penmovies @prerna_singh6.” followed by heart emoji. This yet another poster has Alia in light green ethnic attire with white fine embroidery. In this poster, Alia’s hair is styled in a long braid, with big red bindi on her forehead, she sports floral green earrings. Also she is seen seated on a chair by resting her legs on another chair. Her intense look with a little smile, is simply killer, winning hearts.

After the COVID-19 lockdown, Alia Bhatt resumed the shoot of this Bhansali project in October and was reported to wrap up the film in February 2021, i.e. in this month. This collaboration of Alia Bhatt–Sanjay Leela Bhanshali, will prove to be a milestone in the actress' acting career.
