Now, this is a big collaboration. Fox Star Studios has combined with Karan Johar to produce six movies at an estimate of Rs 500 crore.
The six movies will be made as a joint venture between Fox Star and Karan's company Dharma Productions.
The studio in question has been reeling under a long list of flops since the past two years. Bullet Raja, Humshakals and Bombay Velvet leading the pack of their failures. 
Their next couple of films, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo look viable propositions- but the recent losses have been too heavy to be ignored. 
"Bombay Velvet was the biggest blow. The film, which can be easily termed as an epic disaster, has compelled Fox Star Studios to take remedial measures before it is too late." says a source close to the development it is still not know how much will Karan invest in this partnership, but he will definetly be a big assest in terms of creativity".
