SpotboyE brought you the story about the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) snipping Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons (Alia-Sidharth can't get dirty, March 2), which is set to release on March 18. The board, headed by Pahlaj Nihalani, agreed to issue the film a U/A certificate--- only if the makers made seven cuts essentially pertaining to certain abusive words and vulgar gestures.
A similar fate has befallen R Balki’s Kareena Kapoor-Arjun Kapoor starrer Ki & Ka which is set to release a week after Kapoor & Sons.

The film has words like 'bas***d' and 'ass**le' at two given instants.

Not wanting to reduce his audience, the film's director R Balki is busy making the proposed changes. Once the foul language part is corrected, a U/A certificate will be granted.
