both their upcoming films Padman and Pari might meet with a giant called
Padmavati. Now Padman and Pari both are very promising films in content and execution,
and who wants to share the booty?

So, for all you
know, Akshay Kumar starrer Padman and Anushka Sharma starrer Pari might not
release onJanuary 26 and February 9,
respectively.

You see, Viacom
(producers of Padmavati) officials have had long meetings yesterday, toying
with the idea of releasing Padmavati on January 26- the date set for Padman. Now if Padmavati
hits theatres on Republic Day, it would not make commercial sense to release
Padman on the same day and who knows, even Pari for that matter after 14 days.

A source says, "Of course, there is no guarantee that Padmavati will take the nation by storm- but any good businessman would not like to start his film on a warring note."

Adds the source,
"For all you know, Viacom might not go ahead with Padmavati on January
26 or February 9- and they might stick to their original plan
of releasing it on Valentine's, which they had decided upon--- when the film
ran into trouble with the Karni Sena and hence did not see the light of day on
its scheduled date December 1."
