Five Fashion Moments From Tamasha That Continue To Prove Deepika Padukone’s ‘Tara’ Still Is Iconic!

When Deepika Padukone stunned us with the perfect wardrobe as Tara in Tamasha, nine years back - we did not thing it would continue to be our go to chic choices and a moodboard for life! Her character Tara in the 2015 film Tamasha has a boho chic style with a girl-next-door charm, which she effortlessly carried with her confidence and we must say now, queen was ruling our hearts on the screen! 

In Corsica, Tara opted for basic short dresses, shirt shrugs and cord neckpieces and chains, and anklets - statement for girls that love boho look while travelling. In every frame, Tara just glammed up with absolutely minimalistic clothing. Deepika’s character also wore formals and a corporate look in certain parts of the film, and in most other cases, kept it simple with tops, shirts and pyjamas.

This stays the top of our list and our personal favourite look of Deepika Padukone from the track, Matargashti. The actress wore a blue spaghetti dress and paired it with a sheer white shirt as a shrug that had quirky motifs and accessorised it with a brown belt and wore a delicate gold neckpiece along with a watch. She left her hair open under the Corsican sun and we were all in awe!

With this one, we got introduced to the would of bralettes that soon became a massive rage and so much so, still continue to be. It was every girl’s favourite and with white boho-chic avatar, Deepika’s this look is also a stunner. Deepika wore a low-back ganjee paired with white shorts, and carried a frilled bag with accessories to go with it. Never forget, sneakers and that is iconic styling! 

Bandana with Shirt, vintage style :

A well fitted pair of printed skinny jeans with a slightly oversized plain white shirt knotted in the front. The hair, the sunglasses, and the multicolour bandana make this look - one of our instant go-to as one thinks of Deepika Padukone as Tara. So classy and so stylish!
