This morning, Sushant Singh Rajput unveiled the poster of his film- Romeo Akbar Walter. Social media has been buzzing with the announcement since then.
A few hours back, Sushant posted a picture of him wearing a ganjee on which RAW is written. He captioned the post as, “RAW A Super Compelling Story Of a Man!! Our Hero ? Their SPY ?? Coming 2018.”
Directed by Robby Grewal, the film is set to release in 2018. The poster features the tagline of the film - “Our Hero? Their Spy?”
From the looks of the poster, it comes across as Sushant is playing a RAW agent in the film. Sushant was last seen in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. And this year he will be seen romancing Kriti Sanon in Raabta, which is slated to release on June 9.
Not just Sushant Singh Rajput’s, Pink actress Kirti Kulhari’s look from Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar is also out. Kirti, who just returned from her honeymoon, is seen injured and in confinement in the pictures which have been taken from the shoot of the film.
Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar revolves around the Emergency (1957-77). Kriti plays a girl who stammers. She visited speech therapists and also saw a number of documentaries made on the Emergency to play the role convincingly.
Speaking to SpotboyE.com about the experience of shooting the film, Madhur had said, “Recreating the Emergency time was no mean feat. Right from the costumes which included bell bottoms and facial features such as side locks to the ambassador cars used at that time, detailing was very important. The team did a great job and I am totally satisfied with the result. But I repeat, it wasn't easy.”
