And the wait for Filmfare Awards 2018 winners is finally over! The winners of The Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) and The Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) have been announced minutes ago and the trophies have been bagged by Irrfan Khan (Hindi Medium) and Vidya Balan (Tumhari Sulu) respectively.

The awards nite, held at NSCI Grounds (Worli), was a glitzy affair with the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance.

Meanwhile, The Best Supporting Actor (Male) went to Rajkummar Rao for Bareilly Ki Barfi and The Best Supporting Actor (Female) was conferred to Meher Vij for Secret Superstar.

Hindi Medium was declared The Best Film and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari won the Best Director.

Talking about Hindi Medium's big win, producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films said, "Wow what a start to 2018 for all of us. It is great to see that when the dust settles its good content that has emerged as a winner and this is a huge boost for all of us to work harder in 2018."

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar played the perfect hosts, keeping the crowd entertained with their camaraderie and antics.

As for the performances, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sunny Leone among others sizzled on stage and wowed us with their moves.
