Today marks the special occasion of Father’s Day, this day is celebrated across the world every year. For every child, their father is the hero of their life and on this special day actress, Parineeti Chopra honors her father by sharing the most cherished memory with him. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE, the actress reveals the time she spent with her father singing. She says, "I have grown up singing with him on stage. My dad and Mimi Didi's (Priyanka Chopra) dad used to have a band called Chopra brothers, so they used to perform all over and we used to go on stage and sing with them." Parineeti adds, "He has given the DNA of music inside me, like music in my blood is from him."
Recalling Father's Day celebrations at home she shares, 'We used to put on old songs and would sing with them. We knew every song by heart because of him, he’s is a big fan of Mukesh ji (playback singer) and we used to sing his songs together. My father sent me to learn Hindustani classical music."
Parineeti also speaks about the similarities she shares with her father, "It’s amazing even he loves to make people laugh, and he loves to act out so like all these genes of entertainment and music has come from him. So yeah on Father’s Day I think I should do something special. I’m going to think of something," she says.
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be seen in Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga next titled Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
